Daylight is a DIY and co-op space.

You can sign up via the Patreon (link above) to pay a monthly contribution, which makes you a member.

As members, we own Daylight and run it together- it is member funded and volunteer based. Anyone is free to take part and have a say.
This co-op model is fundamental to how Daylight works.
As a member, you can vote in council elections, and come to council meetings every 2 weeks.
Daylight is multipurpose space that any member can use, free of charge.
It's mostly used as a gig space, but there is massive potential for it to be utilised in other ways.
Ultimately, Daylight is whatever people make it.

As a member, you can just decide to do stuff, get involved with anything, and take initiative to create whatever you'd like to see in the space.

The day-to day behind the scenes work is performed by volunteers. It's a small team of people from lots of different backgrounds, brought together because we think that Daylight should exist.

You don't need to have experience to get involved in the space- everyone wants to make everyone else's life easier. If you need advice, or have questions feel free to ask!
Daylight is inclusive and progressive. There is a zero tolerance policy for racism, homophobia, bullying, or any other forms of discrimination. If issues arise, please reach out to a member of the committee.
The rent for the building is paid via Patreon memberships, and 8 studio rentals upstairs. We do not receive any external funding or support, and all of the council work without pay.
Daylight gives free memberships to anyone who requests one, and prioritises non-profit initiatives and models.
